Post-Tour/BBCback

The tour went very well, thank you very much. When we finally got that drum kit in London things really started rolling (don’t ask.. was a little misunderstanding). We want to thank the people who came to see us in Hoxton Square, the Lexington and in Copenhagen. Now we can only look forward to the next tour in December and various fun things in Iceland.

We had a very fun radio session in Clive Anderson’s Loose Ends on BBC radio 4, which you can be hear by clicking here – our part of the show starts after around 30.30 min. The guests were the musician and activist Billy Bragg, renowned editor Thelma Schoonmaker, Leslie Jordan, a.k.a. “the gayest man in the world” (he says so himself) and the singer Elaine Paige, who created the role of Evita in the famous musical.

Clive did his best to pronounce both the name of the band and the band members themselves. It went quite well, really, although you can hear us having a laugh somewhere in the background. After all, Icelandic is a devil of a language. We performed Feels Like Sugar, from Terminal. That’s the sophomore effort from Hjaltalin, folks. Terminal. Anyway, we managed to meet Clive at a local bar afterwards for a talk. Unfortunately, the meeting did not take long because the London traffic became more frightening as the minutes went by, and we had to catch a flight not long after.

BBC

All the best,
Hjaltalín
